County Recommends Donna Allred as New Clerk Recorder

Sacramento, CA. December 1, 2014  – On December 2, the Sacramento County Executive will recommend Donna Allred for appointment as County Clerk /Recorder. Allred is currently the Chief Deputy of the County Clerk/Recorder department and will begin her new position on December 14.

“Donna has been instrumental in the success of our County Clerk/Recorder operations, and we are pleased to promote her to the head of the department,” said Bradley J. Hudson, Chief Executive Officer. “She brings 24 years of service in Sacramento County with 16 of those in Clerk/Recorder management.”

As Deputy Chief, Allred managed a broad scope of operations ensuring exemplary service managing property records, legal documents, vital statistic and other public records. She managed complex projects such as the server –based marriage license and appointment system, the implementation of an automated, paperless vital records kiosk system, the opening of two department service centers, and the implementation of an Electronic Recording Delivery system. She also provides training to California counties on the state marriage process.
Allred is an active member of the California Association of Clerks and Election Officials – Legislative Committee, County Recorders’ Association of California, Property Records Education Partners, and Property Records Industry Association and the Vision Group.
