Airport Roadwork Rescheduled

For November 5 - 6 (Weds - Thurs)

Sacramento, CA. November 3, 2014 - Customers of Sacramento International Airport may experience traffic delays Wednesday and Thursday, Nov. 5-6, when crews repave Airport Boulevard, the main road into the airport.

The roadwork, which was rescheduled from last week, will cause single lanes of Airport Boulevard to be closed periodically. Traffic control measures will be in place and customers are advised to give themselves an extra 10-15 minutes if they are arriving during the peak travel times of 5-7 a.m., 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., or 9-11 p.m. 

Road work will begin at 7 a.m. on Wednesday and continue until late in the evening on Thursday.

A smaller portion of Airport Boulevard will be under construction on Monday, Nov. 10, where the roadway splits to go to the different terminals, but it is not expected to significantly impact traffic.
