The New American Airlines Has Arrived: US Airways Brand Retires Oct. 17.

With Merger Complete, American Airlines will Operate Nonstop Flights to Phoenix, Seasonal Nonstops to Philly, Charlotte

Sacramento, CA October 15, 2015 - The merger of American Airlines and US Airways completes on Saturday, Oct. 17, when ticket reservation systems merge and the US Airways brand ceases to exist. No passenger impacts are expected. American Airlines is located in Terminal A, next to the US Airways ticket counters. Daily nonstop flights to Phoenix and seasonal nonstop flights to Philadelphia and Charlotte will continue to be offered by American Airlines.

US Airways’ last flight to Phoenix will depart at 7:15 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16. The last flight from Phoenix will arrive at 9:53 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16.
